About Us
What is Farmers Food Assistance Bureau?
The Farmers Food Assistance Bureau (FFAB) is a new nonprofit organization formed with the mission of working with ALL federal nutrition benefits programs as well as all financial transactions to simplify them for farmers.
Our mission is to empower farmers and farmers markets by utilizing technology to streamline acceptance of financial transactions through improved access to federal nutrition benefits programs and all related incentive programs. We aim to increase food access and enhance community well-being through technological advancements and technical assistance to direct-marketing farmers and farmers markets. We are dedicated to supporting agricultural communities through education, resources, and support, ensuring that farmers earn fair compensation for their products and gain financial resiliency while promoting food security for all. Through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to sustainability, we strive to build a resilient food system that benefits both farmers and consumers, fostering a healthier and more equitable society.
